As part of a graduate course called Storytelling Across Media, we were placed in a group and assigned a client to create transmedia related to their brand. My group and I worked with Mezcla Media Collective. Mezcla was created by women to form a rich filmmaking community, aimed at helping women and non-binary filmmakers of color by creating opportunities for learning, networking, and career advancement. The content was created with the goal to raise awareness for Mezcla, increasing paid membership sign-ups, higher engagement of social media channels, and creating a media kit. One of my main contributions was to create social media posts for contests.
